CORPLAN CORRECTION OPENS ANOTHER FACILITY

Corplan Corrections continues to open new facilities with a unique architectural design that allows for Federal, State and Local prisoners. New new facility in Livingston, Texas was approved by ICE officials in Washington, DC, and the facility was approved by the U.S. Marshal as well as the Texas Commission on Jail Standards.

Many communities have welcomed new prison facilities, because of economic development, job creation, and financial rewards. Polk County, for example was not responsible for any operating costs, yet the county will benefit from each prisoner who is housed in the facility. The Livingston facility was built to house 525 inmates, and the entire facility had broad support from the city and county. $15,600,000 was spent in Livingston for the facility, and 150 to 200 new jobs are expected as a result.
